Easy to Install
After replacing just the pilot and thermocoupler several times, this is the best way to rejuvenate the water heater.

Not Great
Ordered this because our pilot light kept going off. It arrived quickly but i noticed the nut for the main gas supply line was threaded the opposite way of the old one. I couldn't use it because of that so i had to take the supply line from the old one to use with the new one. It has been installed for two weeks and has been fine other than the pilot light going out twice. It would have been very easy to install had the thread on the nut been correct.

Bent & Opposite Thread
READ THIS REVIEW The first part received was bent, unusable, and very dusty. Exchanging was easy, but took about 2 additional weeks. This is a major issue when you are waiting to have hot water in your home. I think someone could have noticed that the part was broken before it was sent to me. This was communicated to their customer service. The second part received had an opposite thread connection! That means that we were unable to attach the part to our machine. My handyman was able to create a work around, and rig up the new part using the old thread. I saw that this comment mentioned in a few other reviews, but didn't realize it wouldn't work with my WH until we were installing it. Overall, it's a crapshoot. Parts for old machines are a challenge!

Did not fit
This part was meant for Lp gas water heaters It was not clear in the description. I ended up returning and paying for return shipping and having to order the correct part.
