Ice maker AEQ73209904 includes the ice mold and the control device. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and then holds the water in the ice mold until the water freezes solid. It then automatically ejects the ice and refills to continue the process until the ice storage bin is full.

Poor packaging but ice maker installs easily
Ice maker was poorly packaged with no packing and just loosely bouncing around in box which resulted in the metal bar coming off and the locking clip on yellow plug getting broken off. Part was easily installed and started making ice quickly but plug is not 'locked' in place because it was broken in shipping due to poor packaging.
