New Icemaker had broken stripper when it arrived.
When this new item arrived, the plastic ice stripper had a broken tab on it requiring me to replace it with the non-working icemaker's ice stripper.

Fix and worked!
Replaced ice maker in a 2009 Kenmore Side by side Frig/Freezer. Delivery is slow, ordered on A Friday did not receive until the next Wednesday.

Inferior refrigerator. This is the 3rd ice maker
I bought this refrigerator because it was advertised to shave the ice like snow. IT DID NOT. I should have returned the refrigerator. I was charged $99.00 plus tax to be told that it would cost me over $600.00 to repair it. The refrigerator is over 10 years old. When I have to replace it, you can be sure that it won't be a Sears product. Selling inferior product is probably why Sears went out of business.

A bit of thought to make it work.
Cable and water receiver was wrong. Used the parts from the bad ice maker. Worked just fine.

Easy to install.
Easy to install but you do need small fingers. The ice cubes made by the replacement piece are smaller than the original part.
