Extremely POOR quality!!!!
This was the 5th time that I have had to do replacement on the Engagement cable. The last one broke after 372 days. (It would have been free if it was 364 days!) Purchased mower in 2012. Had to order replacement cables 10-13-14, 4-24-16, 7-15-19, 8-7-20, and 8-14-2021. A representative should have reached out to me with sincere apologies (perhaps after the 3rd replacement), and an offer to replace this poorly designed part at no charge, with free overnight shipping, AT THE VERY LEAST. The only person I talked to couldn't operate the computer, so I had to "chat" my way through the process. Incidentally, I returned the part, along with a brief note pointing out the design and quality issues, refraining from any @!$%##*\@!!!! comments. Not real easy to install due to restricted access. If I ever have to do this again, I will set fire to the mower first and send you all a testimonial photo which you could use, as an example of your most favorite customer. I have purchased numerous Sears products like power tools, major appliances, chain saw, circular saw, ratchet set, car and boat batteries, car tires, and have never ever purchased such a pathetic replacement part!!!!!! Truly a totally dissatisfied former customer. Mike Carter
