Easy install
Replacing the heating element on our three year old Whirlpool stove (seriously?), was easy peasy. Takes one screw driver and about 20 mins to pull the stove away from the wall, remove the old heat element, install the new heat element then put the stove back against the wall and flick the breaker back on. Oven properly heats up and works again.

Just what we needed!
Stove had been taking longer and longer to preheat. Was unsure what the issue was. Gutted and ran systems check (cancel>cancel>start>bake). Discovered no heat from lower element. Super simple to replace. Remove base pan, disconnect from wiring, replace with new element, rewire. Voila!!! Have heat!

Not exactly the same as the original bake element
It works fine, but it is not the same as the original bake element. Also, we was told that we would receive the part in two weeks, but it took a month to obtain.

Backorder
Took a couple months to get due to backorder. Wife almost made me buy a new oven....but it finally arrived easy to install and is working perfectly.

Wrong part was sent for the SECOND time!
The picture here of the Range Bake Element is the one I need!! Twice you have sent the WRONG one. I have been without an oven that works for almost 2 months! First the wrong one came, I called Sears representative. She said keep that one until the right one arrives. Then I got a message that my correct part was BACK ORDERED. Finally another element came, but is the SAME WRONG ONE that will not fit in my oven!

Whirlpool heating element
One side of the heating element was bent when I removed it from the package. It should have been wrapped in bubble wrap in the package to protect it.
