LIterally just hooks into one side, and then there's a clamp on the other side. Helps to double the strap at the end where it clamps down.

Very easy to install
Pretty easy to install. Hardest part is getting it off the spring. Other than that, easy as can be. Best price I could find as well.

Disappointment from onset to completion.
Measurements deviated from those advertised, product took months to arrive after being continually "backordered". Overall entirely dissatisfied with the process, the product and Sears no longer meeting the precedent for excellent customer service they use to uphold.
