Easy to Install
April 28, 2019|BOBBBB, Mt. Vernon, Oh

I watched a video where they placed the push nut over a socket and taped it in place. This worked remarkably well.

Yes, easy to install, but why a nut?
September 14, 2021|aplandbob, Worcester County, MA

There are many parts on my tractor where a hole and a cotter pin do the trick, I don't know why there wasn't that set up here.. Using a push nut is a cheap way to hold the part in place. I think when the nut fell off, it hit the mower belt and then launched into my arm because something did, and I couldn't find what it was. Now, I ordered this part from Sears because it was in stock.. Cost me almost 20 bucks for two nuts and shipping...for a poorly engineered part. The part did arrive timely, it took about 3 days to get to me. Part was easily installed and now I can safely regulate the speed and direction of the tractor.

Disappointed in lack of information
June 24, 2020|Stan3337, Undisclosed

It should be explained to the customer that there are TWO of these needed. I paid over $7 to ship a $3 part. I'm stuck now but hesitant to order the second one needed on principle.
