Fairly simple repair
Installation of the new part was very easy. No guidance was provided for the removal of the damaged part, which is usually the more difficult part of a repair. I had watched a YouTube of a similar part replacement.

Somewhat easy to install
The switch has to be removed from the front. There are tabs on the sides that need to be depressed in order for the switch to be removed. A small screwdriver has to be inserted in each side and turned 90 degrees to push in each tab. The connector has long enough wire on it to pull the entire switch out and unplug the connector. Plugging in the new switch and sliding it back in was easy. The refrigerator is back up and running.

Refrigerator light switch removal and installation
The switch was received in the 5 days. There were no installation instructions with the switch. It wasn't difficult to remove the old switch, however the retainers on the old switch broke when removed. The new switch was connected and installed and worked like it was supposed to. Overall it took about 10 minutes from start to finish.
