Thermister replacement - tE error not in my manual

Found the tE error on line, it said the thermistor was bad. I ordered the thermistor, very reasonable price, and began the repair when it arrived. Opened the back of the washer to find a very obvious break in the wiring harness, right at the connector for the thermistor. A bit of solder and some heat shrink tubing and I was back in business. Now I have a spare thermistor in case the supply ever runs out. I have used Sears PartsDirect twice now, and it has been very helpful both times. They have drawings that are helpful, and excellent pricing on parts and shipping.
