Power drive for mower
Order #W977790 When I received this part, I had to wait for the guy who was going to repair my mower, He just came yesterday to pick it up and he just called me this morning to tell me that the part was not new. He said you can tell it was broken and someone probably ordered a new one and then returned the broken one and told you he didn't need the new one but when it was retuned to you, you obviously did not check the part. So now I have no new replacement part to fix my mower . What can be done about this? I desperately need this part asap. I no longer have the paperwork to return it!

There was no directions / videos on how to install over or under the transmission spring on the mower. Had to bring the mower to a repair shop

couldn't find this part anywhere, loved the mower and wanted to fix it. parts man found it in 5 minutes and got it ordered for us. Very Happy!!

Drive Control Assembly Installation
The old cable clip was difficult to remove so I had to cut that off. When installing the new part do not fasten the handle until the wire cable is fastened underneath the mower. Make sure the wire clip goes on the proper side of the spring.

Works great
Fairly easy to change out. Use needlenose pliers to make the connection to the gear box. Can be a real stinker but use the pliers on the angle part at the end of the cable and have someone else push up on the gear box.
