Carb replacement

Easy to install, worked well but had to adjust the high speed adjustment about 1/8 turn out.

What I was looking for

Had an older craftsman chainsaw that wouldn’t start easily and when it did it wouldn’t idle. Decided to replace the carb I believe it was under $30. Solved my problems. Now it starts right up and idles fine.

Perfect!

All the upgraded parts work perfect. All parts installed with no issues.I did think the fuel line was going to bind on the throttle linkage being it is now on the left bottom side, absolutely no issues.

Older saws need the cover included with this carb

If you have an older chainsaw, you need the carburetor cover that comes with this kit. I returned a cheaper carburetor from another seller that didn't include a new cover because the carb wouldn't fit under my old cover. It was easy to replace the old carb. You may need to adjust the carb before putting the outer casing on -- I did. You may need to tie the trigger down to keep the linkage from coming off as you align the carb onto the bolts.
