DISASTER
The remotes did not function. Attempts to return the units ended in frustration: on line forms would not recognize my order number. Phone attempts impossible, no human agents. It seems that I am now stuck with $130.00 worth of useless remotes!

Spend a little more and get something dependable!
Avoid this product! It has NO control buttons on it Ð to function, it depends ONLY on this 50¢ remote. After using this A.C. unit for maybe just TWO or THREE nights, it failed. As your only remedies at his point are replacing the button battery or the remote itself, (which didn't work), you're then left with arranging for a repair Ð whose cost would come close to the purchase price of a brand new 6000 BTU unit. So that's precisely what I will be doing. Purchasing a new one. And it WON'T be a Kenmore brand...
