Ice maker optic board set W10757851 senses ice cube level in the ice bucket and shuts off ice production when the bucket is full. Set also prevents the ice maker from ejecting ice when you open the freezer door. Set includes emitter and receiver optic boards.
Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off and unplug the refrigerator before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Relatively Easy to Install
The only difficulty I encountered was preforming the repair on a working freezer where the wiring harness was freezing cold. This made the wires stiff and not as pliable as the harness in the instructional video. I let the harness warm a little and carefully eased from the casing. Yes, before I started the repair, I turned off the refridgerator at the circuit breaker.
