The mounting bracket seemed to be backwards, but I'm not very smart. I got it installed and it works, making ice again!

close but no cigar
the part was what we needed, but configured differently than the oem part. The associate that we reached by phone was clueless; leaving us to figure out a work-around ourselves. The tubing and connector included made the adaptation doable.

Easy to Install No Directions
The valve is simple io install but I went to YouTube to find details about how to ensure the tubes are properly seated after insertion to prevent leaking i.e. push it in firmly. Overall it was a 20 minute job including finding water shut off valve which for me was in the basement, and removing many small screws to access panel. You can find a cheaper valve but I'd rather buy a real OEM part rather than a questionable substitute.

I purchased cheaper priced valve via Amazon and it was junk. No better than the old valve I was replacing. This one was worth the money. Good as new.
