Expensive!
Expensive to replace old one that somehow got a pinhole leak in it. Don't understand the pinhole leak when it just sits behind the fridge. Install was easy.

Superior part
This is the correct part for a refrigerator where the water line goes from the water source directly to the filter. One end is a tapered compression fitting with compression nut and the is a 5/16" press in fitting. The most difficult part of installation is feeding the tube from front to back under the refrigerator.

I NEED customer service to fix problem.
It's not only the wrong part but I was over-charged for the part. I was told it was $4.70 and when my bill came it was for $46.97. I've not only called the parts department with no answer; just placed constantly on hold, and customer service refused to help me. HORRIBLE service. Sears NEEDS to contact me to fix this problem!!!

Easy to install
Easy to install in less than 30 minutes. Look at install on Youtube. No instructions were included with this kit. It is a mod to the original design. This mod bypasses the input connection. It goes directly to the house water source. Never mentioned anywhere except on Youtube. It got the job done. Just need instructions, especially if install is different from original design.

You are the Only One
It was relatively easy to uninstall and once that was done it was just to do it backwards to get it installed. I would say going slow so as not damage anything it took an hour to get the hose back in correctly. Sears is the only place I could find the hose. My plumber wanted $528.00 to remove and reinstall the hose. Problem was he didn't have a replacement hose. I am not a plumber but decided I can do this on my own. So can you. Hose cost $43.00 ... hiring a plumber Zero.
