INCORRECT PART ordered -Sears Parts Direct TOLD ME TO GET!

I bought a filter housing due to a tiny leak when hooking up new filter. I was told must buy entire $40 part-can't get a separate "o" ring or gasket. Did that. MY Kenmore side-by-side had hoses SO SHORT that I could not remove the old housing -but approx. 3"! SO - I call & ask how much are the 2 tubing-hoses that go INTO the filter housing. I ask for parts nos. and ask to place the order. One hose was correct, but the other is totally incorrect! I CANNOT GET a PERSON to call or speak with regarding exchanging the incorrect part (says "cannot be returned!!") for the correct tubing-hose!! They transfer me - to an "AI" that says Sears does NOT have any HUMANS that I can speak with!!! BUT - I can (good luck with that!!) try "chat", email! DON'T PURCHASE FROM THEM IF you are not 100% SURE of the part - because Sears Parts Direct customer service INSISTED that the 2nd hose was the right one--but it was not! And now I cannot reach a HUMAN to BEG them to correct their mistake!!
