Wrong part. Impossible to install as received.
I ordered this part from Sears parts by phone. I previously went online to Sears Parts Direct, to order the Treadmill Incline Motor for my NordicTrack treadmill Model #: 831.25016.0, Serial #: FF240C04360. I found this Treadmill Incline Motor 220696. I clicked on "will this part fit my model?", and got a reply that it may not fit. I then phoned Sears Parts, gave the above numbers, and was clearly assured that this part would fit. It did not fit. The bolt hole in the worm gear cover was 90 degrees off. The worm gear was a different length. After a long struggle, I finally removed the worm gear and cover from the old unit (which had an electronic rather than a mechanical failure) and installed it on the new one. The treadmill now works fine. I am going to the trouble to send this to you so that no one else will have to go through this problem. PLEASE GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT.
