Water filter (part number F2WC9I1) has NSF certification 42; it reduces chlorine taste and odor and class III particulates rust, dirt, sand and sediment 5 to 15 microns in size.
Water filter F2WC9I1 fits select refrigerators and ice makers.
Replace every 6 months, or more often if water flow slows noticeably.
Follow the instructions in your owner's manual when installing this part.

Product works for stand alone ice maker & subscription easy
Product for stand alone ice maker. Wish subscription would come ever 4 months instead of every 3 months. Product comes by USPS which is fine, however package is usually well worn.

Filter stuck could not remove it white white filter tool.. had several filters that leaked.very expensive.

Criminal...!
First, I've canceled this order years ago but yet I'm still getting shipments of filters. I don't even have the ice machine tied to the order. Second- Y'all are a bunch of criminals trying to extract almost $60 for each filter delivered long after I've cancelled. No excuses... stop the BS and honor the 'cancelled'communication

Wrong Part Twice
Two different times I contacted Sears Part Direct the first one was wrong it did not fit so I returned it called to resolve it they sent a second one and convinced me to get two as that would be cheaper. I said OK they sent those and they were wrong as well. So now I returned those and will order direct from Whirlpool even though I bought the refrigerator at Sears and they assured me their parts would work. Very frustrating and a waste of time and money.
