Perfect fix OEM part
Got dishwasher fixed . A little skeptical when I opened parts box delivered yesterday. Plastic housing and ribbon cable to touch buttons on face. That was all. Like, just where is the control board. Zero electronics! I was all ready to fire off an email for misadvertized control board piece of plastic MOE from Sears parts. Which BTW supposedly was M.D.'d. Manufacture Discontinued. So I took electronics out of old and placed in new, reassembled, and it works... I'm no appliance tech, and it proves 'they' knew what goes bad in these older units. Circuitry is heavy duty, unlike anything built by today's standards. The soft touch control buttons on the front are what get the most abuse. Eventually contacts either break or stick. Thats why it wouldn't cycle. Part wasn't cheap, for what it is but a third of what an estimate was given to rebuild. Took 15 minutes to replace, and a 10 minute cycle to test.
