Tractor Bagger Attachment

I have an old Craftsman tractor mower. I really appreciate that I was able to find this part. It fit perfectly and was ready to attach upon delivery. Thank you very much.

A little difficult to install

Would have been nice to have some instructions instead of "winging it".

Easy fit, quick install

I was surprised to find that the holes were NOT drilled for the hinge pin to be inserted. It is likely that this fits many of the kits and some have different size hinge pins. I quickly drilled the holes with a portable drill without any issues, obviously easy to drill through the plastic. I didn't look at the exploded diagram well enough prior to disassembly to notice the spacer and two springs, I pulled the hinge pin and the popped out. Easy enough to figure out the reinstall but should have looked ahead of time to be aware. Makes sense the lid does open under pressure from the springs and is held open while emptying the bags. I have mowed one time with the new lid but as expected no issues. Didn't care for the price but it was significantly cheaper than a whole new unit.

Still Available

I was very pleased that this cover was still available since the lawnmower is over 20 years old, but still running well.

Difficult to install

it was very hard to install because of the springs that have to be installed on shaft that connects the top cover.
