Easy to install
Easy to install. All that is required is a small flat head screwdriver, and a 1/4 socket with a 4' extension on a ratchet.

Super easy to install
Only took about 30 minutes. As soon as I turned it on it was running. Hardest part was seeing where the screws were to loosen them. I was told they only last about 2-3 years before replacement. My old one was 3yrs.

was getting a discolored dirty ice cube and then stopped making ice cubes altogether upon further inspection electrical connections were heavily corroded ordered new complete unit and received in 2 days

Install is a Bit of a Challenge
Our refrigerator is two years old, a small Kenmore Coldspot. The freezer compartment is narrow, which makes installing the ice maker a bit of a challenge in such a tight space, particularly the screws at the rear of the device. Goor to have a ratchet-drive screwdriver.

Wrong part for the 3rd time
I was unable to install the part because it did not come with the wiring harness and wire arm that shuts off or allows ice making. I
