Wrong part
What I needed were the clips that engage the starter, not the starter rope. Turns out these clips are mounted to the oil assembly and I would have to buy that part just to get the clips. I need to return these starter ropes.

Replacement assembly is missing the Pawl
The repair was not made because the replacement Line Trimmer Recoil Starter Assembly did not include the Pawl to make it start. That is what is broken on the original starter. Have not been able to reach Customer Service.

They said it was a five minute repair. Take it off put it on. The first time, that's exactly what I did. It didn't work! Took it apart again. This time I really looked at it. On the inside fan there is a small movable part. Put it in the down position. Line up the second small fixed part with the new starter cord part. One you have on, give the cord a gentle pull, to see if it catches. If it catches, your good to go. Put in the center screw above and behind the cover. (Not included with the new set of screws). Put in the four new screws. Be sure to align the bottom cover before you tighten everything down. After that give it a prime and a pull. Mine started right up. Ready to go! Hope this helps the not so mechanical inclined, like me!

Handy and helpful Customer Service
After a wrong part false start, the new one was a perfect fit. However, it seems the that the recoil was pulling too light and not engaging the motor properly. It took forever to get the weedwacker started, I plan to increase the springs tension by wapping the string a couple of turns on the pulley. After starting it worked well, so all in all, I am happy. I'll get credit when I return the incorrect part.

Never got complete parts
I was told the pawls come with recoil starter. after two orders arrived without the pawls. I chatted with a Manager, The solution was since they didnt put the pawls in the box twice, They were not going to try a third time, so, I should return part and contact the Manufacturer.
