Additional information

This snowblower swinging plate kit installs within the drive system and allows connected components to pivot as needed during engagement and speed changes. Part number 707540 helps keep drive movement smooth and aligned so the snowblower responds properly during operation.

If the swinging plate wears, bends, or binds, drive engagement can become inconsistent. You may notice slipping, uneven speed changes, difficulty engaging the drive, or unusual noises coming from the drive area.

Disconnect the spark plug wire before starting the repair to prevent accidental engine startup. Align the swinging plate carefully during installation and make sure it moves freely through its full range before tightening all fasteners.
