Default F code-no failure
The F0 code displays if there are no previous fault codes and you hold the Cancel key for 5 seconds. Press Cancel to clear the display.
Defective electronic oven control
Disconnect power or unplug the range. Replace the electronic oven control.
Keypad wire harness is disconnected
Disconnect power or unplug the range. Reconnect the keypad wire harness if loose. Restore electrical power to the range and press Cancel. If the error code returns after 60 seconds, replace the keypad. If the problem persists, replace the electronic oven control.
Cancel key is defective
Disconnect power or unplug the range. Reconnect the keypad wire harness if loose. Restore electrical power to the range and press Cancel. If the error code returns after 60 seconds, replace the keypad. If the problem persists, replace the electronic oven control.
Defective oven temperature sensor or open oven temperature sensor circuit
Disconnect power or unplug the range. Reconnect the oven temperature sensor wire harness connection if loose. Replace the wire harness if damaged. Measure the oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1080 ohms at 70F, replace the oven temperature sensor. If the oven temperature sensor resistance and wire harness connections are okay, replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
Defective oven temperature sensor or shorted oven temperature circuit
Disconnect power or unplug the range. Reconnect the oven temperature sensor wire harness if loose. Replace the wire harness if damaged. Measure the oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1080 ohms at 70F, replace the oven temperature sensor. If the oven temperature sensor resistance and wire harness connections are okay, replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
Oven temperature is more than 575 degrees F in Bake mode
Disconnect power or unplug the range. Reconnect the oven temperature sensor wire if loose. Replace the wire harness if damaged. Measure the oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1080 ohms at 70F, replace the oven temperature sensor. If the oven temperature sensor resistance and wire harness connections are okay, replace the electronic oven control.
Oven temperature is more than 950 degrees F in Clean mode
Disconnect power or unplug the range. Reconnect the oven temperature sensor wire if loose. Replace the wire harness if damaged. Measure the oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1080 ohms at 70F, replace the oven temperature sensor. If the oven temperature sensor resistance and wire harness connections are okay, replace the electronic oven control.
Meat probe shorted
Disconnect power or unplug the range. Unplug the meat probe and measure the resistance of the meat probe using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 59,000 ohms at 70F, replace the meat probe. If the resistance of the meat probe is okay, insert the meat probe in the jack and check for a firm connection between the probe and jack in the oven. If the jack is damaged or worn out, replace it. Reconnect the wire harness connection on the meat probe jack if loose. Replace the wire harness if damaged.
Door is open, but latch is locked (door switch communicates an open door, but latch switch communicates a locked door)
If the oven light doesn't turn on and off when you open and close the oven door, replace the oven door switch. If the switch works correctly, disconnect power or unplug the oven and then reconnect any loose wires on the oven door lock assembly wire harness. Replace the wire harness if damaged. Replace the door lock assembly if it's visibly damaged.
Self-clean latch won't lock/unlock
Disconnect power or unplug the range. Reconnect any loose wires on the oven door lock assembly wire harness. Replace the wire harness if damaged. Replace the door lock assembly if it's visibly damaged.
