Clock button on the key panel is stuck

Check / Repair

Press the Clock button to free it. If it remains stuck, replace the control key panel.

Element relay on the electronic oven control board is stuck

Check / Repair

Disconnect electrical power or unplug the range for 3 minutes to reset the electronic oven control board. Restore power. If the code returns, replace the electronic oven control board.

Oven over-temperature

Check / Repair

A relay on the electronic oven control board is stuck, or a sensor failed, or there's a short in the oven heating circuit. Call a service technician to diagnose and repair the problem.

Condition

Oven temperature sensor is defective (short in the sensor circuit)

Check / Repair

Disconnect electrical power or unplug the range. Reconnect any loose wires on the oven temperature sensor wire harness. Replace the wire harness if damaged. Using a volt/ohm meter to measure the oven temperature sensor resistance. If the resistance is not 1100 ohms at room temperature, replace the oven temperature sensor. If the oven temperature sensor resistance is okay, replace the electronic oven control.

Oven temperature sensor is defective (electrically open sensor circuit)

Check / Repair

Disconnect electrical power or unplug the range. Reconnect any loose wires on the oven temperature sensor wire harness. Replace the wire harness if damaged. Using a volt/ohm meter to measure the oven temperature sensor resistance. If the resistance is not 1100 ohms at room temperature, replace the oven temperature sensor. If the oven temperature sensor resistance is okay, replace the electronic oven control.

Defective electronic oven control board (only time of day and timer will operate)

Check / Repair

Disconnect electrical power or unplug the range for 3 minutes to reset the electronic oven control board. Restore power. If the code returns, replace the electronic oven control board.

Defective oven door lock circuit

Check / Repair

Disconnect power or unplug the range. Reconnect any loose wires in the oven door lock assembly wire harness. Replace the wire harness if damaged. Check the door lock assembly for visible damage and replace it if broken.
