GE laundry center error codes

Unplug the laundry center and see if you can spin the agitator by hand. If not, then remove the motor belt and attempt to spin the motor with the belt removed. If the motor won't spin, replace it. If the motor spins with the belt removed, then check the drive components because the drive system locked up.

Check your water supply. Make sure that the water supply faucets behind the washer are fully open. Check the fill hoses for kinks. If the water supply is okay, then you could have a defective water inlet valve, a problem with the water level pressure switch or a wire harness failure.

The water inlet valve could be stuck open if the washer fills constantly even when shut off. Unplug the laundry center and see if the washer continues to fill. If so, replace the water inlet valve. If the washer doesn't fill constantly when the laundry center is unplugged, replace the electronic control board because the control board is activating the valve incorrectly. If the washer isn't overfilling then the water level pressure switch or the electronic control board could be defective because those components are not properly detecting the actual water level in the washer.

Check the house drain for your laundry center and the washer drain hose for clogs. If the drain path is clear, replace the drain pump if it won't pump water out when activated. Replace the electronic control board if it doesn't activate the drain pump in the drain mode.

The thermistor detects water temperature for the electronic control board. Unplug the washer and check the wire harness connections between the thermistor and the electronic control board. Replace the wire harness if damaged. Replace the thermistor if the wiring is okay. If the problem persists, replace the electronic control board.

The washer control board is defective. Unplug the laundry center and replace the electronic control board.

The electronic control board uses a speed sensor mounted on the motor to detect motor speed. Unplug the laundry center and make sure that the wire harness for the speed sensor is properly connected. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wire harness is okay, then you could have a defective speed sensor, failed drive motor or defective electronic control board.

Unplug the laundry center and check the wire harness connections between the electronic control board and the lid lock. Replace the wire harness if damaged. If the wire harness is okay, replace the lid lock assembly. If the problem persists, replace the electronic control board.

The electronic control board doesn't detect the lid switch opening for 3 consecutive cycles and assumes that the lid switch is broken. Replace the lid switch if damaged. If the lid switch is okay, replace the electronic control board.

The washer control board is defective. Unplug the laundry center and replace the electronic control board.
