Electrical safety tips to follow when using your Kmart wet/dry vacuum

• Read and understand all warnings and safety guidelines in the owner's manual before using the wet/dry vacuum.
• Follow the directions described on all safety labels on the wet/dry vacuum.
• Don't vacuum flammable or combustible liquids or explosive dusts using the wet/dry vacuum.
• Don't operate the wet/dry vacuum near flammable liquids or dust.
• Don't alter the power cord or outlet plug for the wet/dry vacuum. Plug the power cord only into compatible wall outlets or extension cords.

Replacing the paper filter on your Kmart wet/dry vacuum

• Unplug the power cord to disconnect electrical power from the shop vacuum.
• Release the locking tabs at the top of the canister and pull the power head assembly off the top of the canister.
• Set the power head assembly upside down and remove the filter plate from the bottom of the paper filter.
• Pull the paper filter off the filter cage and install the new filter on the filter cage.
• Reinstall the filter plate on the bottom of the paper filter.
• Reinstall the power head assembly on the top of the canister and plug the shop vacuum in to restore electrical power.
