How to fix your Sears Canada laundryer center when its washer won't drain
A clog in the laundry center washer's drain system or a failed drain pump can prevent the washer from draining the water.
First, check the house drain for your laundry center for a clog and clear the house drain if clogged. If the house drain for the laundry center is okay, check the drain pump and drain hose for clogs and clear any clogs in the drain system. If the washer's drain system is clear, reassemble the washer and test the washer to see if the drain pump runs when activated. If the drain pump doesn't run or the pump motor runs but the pump doesn't drain out the water, then you may need to replace the drain pump.
Troubleshooting your Sears Canada laundry center when the dryer won't tumble
If the dryer motor runs but the drum doesn't turn, a broken dryer drive belt, weak drive motor or binding drum seals could be the problem.
First, unplug the laundry center and check the dryer drive belt. Replace the drive belt if it's worn or broken.
If the belt is okay, spin the dryer drum manually to check for binding. If damaged drum seals prevent the drum from spinning, replace the drum seals.
If the drum spins okay and the drive belt is good, then you may need to replace the drive motor because it's too weak to spin the drum.
