• Check valves. Check valves are spring-actuated pump valves that allow pressurized water to flow in only one direction through the pump.

• Spray gun. The spray gun has a trigger and trigger lock to control the application of water onto the cleaning surface.
• Thermal relief valve. The thermal relief valve protects the pump from overheating. If the spray wand is unused for more than 5 minutes while the pump is running, the pressurized water heats up quickly.
