Troubleshooting your Commodore printer when it won't power up

Check the electrical outlet. If the electrical outlet is dead, reset the house circuit breaker for the outlet.
Check the power cord. Make sure the power cord is fully plugged into the printer. Replace the power cord if it's frayed or damaged.
Power supply board. If the printer is plugged into a working outlet and the power cord is good, then a failed power supply board may be preventing the printer from powering up.
