Good replacement
This part got wrecked when I mounted it in a WORKHORSE without the polyurethane jaws in place, so I had to order a new one. The dents cause the drive shaft cable to bind up which probably led to other parts failing. It's an easy repair if you are handy and patient. There was no diameter difference, so the old hardware mounted on without any problems.

DISPOSABLE EQUIPMENT
I am so disappointed with Sears. I bought a weed trimmer 6 months ago. The drive shaft cable broke after minimal use. Sears says the part is not available. The technician said this is from another model and may fit. It did not. So I have a useless weed trimmer. The engine runs fine but now it is junk. So, I guess I'll throw it away?! That, or put it on a shelf for eternity. Such waste. Sears and Craftsman used to be such solid brands. Now they are vestiges of what they used to be. No wonder Sears is failing.
