Exact Replacement Part, Perfect
I could not tell any difference between this part and the original from LG. The original had a hidden screw that came out after 10 years, and the unit fell apart. I hope this one lasts as long. It's a perfect fit, and I can't tell any difference from the original part.

Exactly what I needed
I was so happy to find this ice cube caddie as the original one fell apart one day. This part was priced below other places I contacted and it arrived before the date promised. It felt good handling this problem without having to call a repair person. All I had to do was to put it in place. And, it works perfectly!

Easy install - lousy manufacturing QC
The ice container was ultimately a breeze to install HOWEVER upon receiving the item and unpacking, the assembly would not fit easily into the door and appeared warped. Upon closer inspection, a plastic tab at the bottom of the assembly had not been fitted correctly by the manufacturer. Removed five screws and reassembled correctly but not after having to fight every tab, spring and ice cruncher blade for nearly 30 minutes for what should have been less than two minute replacement job. Where has the pride in manufacturing a quality product gone? The price was right, delivery slower than molasses but it finally solved the problem.
