Great Service
I need a small spring for my 19 year old lawn mower and it was easy to locate the right part, it arrived on time and it was easy to install. It would be good if the price of shipping could be reduced; the shipping cost was more than the spring. Aside from that, my lawnmower is back in business.

As expected
As expected from previous reviews of this part, it did have a larger spring coil than the original. Other than the coil it was a perfect fit. To make this spring work I went to a local hardware store and purchased 2 fender washers just a bit larger in diameter than the coil for 23 cents each to replace the original washers. This worked perfectly and I'm now back in business. It would be nice if it were the correct replacement part though.

Not the same as original!
First, it does work once installed. But the coils for the spring action are MUCH bigger than original, the washers pass right through it. Had to find a BIG washer. It is hard to install, had to use a zip tie to compress spring action get arm to go behind bracket.

Part was close but not exact
I have a 20 year old Craftsman lawn tractor so parts are tough to come by. The part was simple to find on this website. Ordering was easy and it shipped promptly. When I went to install, the part was not an exact replacement for the OEM part. The spring coil was much larger diameter. I sis not measure but likely 1" vs. 5/8". I had to modify the install by replacing a couple washers with oversize washers.

Riding mower return spring
Bought this for a Craftsman riding mower. All the doc numbers said it was the right item. Definitely not. The loop is much larger than OEM so I had to get much larger washers to sandwich the spring. Also had to bend the long leg about 15 degrees so it would lay over the mower clutch rod. Took me about 90 minutes to install with no small amount of frustration. Nice to have something that did however work.
