Easy to Install Once You Get The Undamaged Part!

The range repair required that both the valve manifold and the gas tube be replaced due to the negligence of a warranty service repairman five years ago who apparently cross threaded the connection between the two pieces, so it was not usable after being separated. So instead of just replacing a single burner valve, we ended up spending a couple hundred dollars more for the manifold and the gas tube. So when the parts arrived, we were excited to finally be able to get our range functioning again. Then we opened the box for the gas tube (which is shaped to fit the range) to find that whoever packed the part into the box decided that they would just bend the tube to fit in the box, which rendered it totally useless. Fortunately, customer service agreed to ship us a new gas tube right away at no extra charge, but we then had to wait another week for that to arrive.
