Door switch and switch bracket assembly (part number 99002254) is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some Maytag dishwasher models starting with DWC4, DWC6, DWC7, DWC8, DWU3, DWU4, DWU5, DWU6, DWU7, DWU8, DWU9, GDU2, GDU4, MCD4, MDB2, MDB3, MDB4, MDB5, MDB6, MDB7, MDB8, MDB9, MDC4, PDB1 and PDB2.
Also fits some Admiral models starting with DWCA and DWUA; some Crosley models starting with CDC4, CDC5, CDU2, CDU4, CDU5, CDU6, CDU8 and OEMM; some Jenn-Air models starting with DW10, DW70, DW71, DW73, DW76, DW86, DW87, DW96, DW98, JDB4, JDB5, JDB6 and JDB7; some Magic Chef models starting with DC40, DC45, DC5J, DU20, DU21, DU25, DU2J, DU40, DU45, DU4J, DU4K, DU5J, DU65, DU80, DU8J and OWMM; and some Norge models starting with NDU2, NDU4, NDU5 and NDU6.
Assembly 99002254 replaces part numbers 903086 and 99001077; this part includes both door switches and the switch holder bracket.
The door switch detects when the door is closed so the dishwasher can start.
Unplug the dishwasher and check continuity through the door switch with the switch in the closed position; replace the switch if your meter doesn't measure continuity.

Damaged item
When this part arrived it was in a thin plastic bag and there was no packaging on the outside for protecting the contents. One of the switches was broken, and I assume was damaged during shipping.
