Fits perfectly
When Whirlpool designs their freezers, they provide for a full vertical array of shelves but do not put shelves into two of the slots. That way, they can charge buyers well over $200 to fully complete the freezer's shelf lineup. However, I'm only mildly annoyed with their sales strategy because fridge/freezer is a very good appliance. Sears got the second shelf for me when nobody else could find one and Sears' price was the lowest. Kudos to Nora in Customer Service.

Worth the Wait
Although it took many weeks to get my freezer shelves, I appreciated the periodic updates and it was worth the wait! They slid right in and were packed so well. thank you. I still think the refrigerator/freezer should come with the 2 additional shelves for the freezer and the one additional door shelf for the refrigerator. In the end, my new appliance cost an additional $300+ but I love it.

Whirlpool glass freezer shelves
I was very unhappy that the new Whirlpool didn't come with enough shelves - gaping space meaning I had to stack food on food on food on food and frequently many would fall out with me trying to extricate one I needed in the middle....inexcusable shortage of shelves....BUT on line to order (my exact Model # wasn't there) new shelves at $100 apiece!, there was very much needed step-by-step instruction with the new shelf # that it WOULD fit my Model....and it actually did!.....therefore I am happy to endorse that my problem is finally solved....just please include 2 more shelves in the new appliances...
