Obtaining The Part...
yes... The Brake Band on my McCulloch CS380 broke and having sought the part on McCullochs site without positive results I then tried sourcing it via Google with three sites indicating they had to part but neither of the three had it. A fourth indicates the part was no longer available. As an alternative I sought purchasing the entire assembly and again the McCulloch site indicated the part was no longer available. I then tried Sears as I also required a micro safety switch for my Craftsman Mower. Sears parts showed the part for the Chain Saw and I ordered it... After several notifications of backorder from Sears the part arrived and my saw is again operational... i was quite pleased with Sears because they communicated the status and did not drop sourcing the part... Thanks...
