Easy to repair

I installed these on a Whirlpool WHER25 RO system. Installation was easy. There are videos online.

Precision OEM Quality Parts for My Sears RO Unit

I had to replace the plunger unit because after over 15 years of service the rubber diaphragms in the shut off valve cracked causing a leak through the flange of the shutoff valve. The replacement parts ordered from the manual were quality precision parts just like those originally installed in unit. Just make sure you install the plunger unit and the diaphragms correctly. While doing this repair it also make sense to replace the Check Ball assembly and O ring. While putting the cover back on the plunger assembly I found it easier to place the Check Ball O ring on the cover neck rather than into the Check Ball cavity. The cover flange will then pop in place with pressure applied.

Part missing

The plunger part of the 2 parts were missing. Had to call Sears & wait on a new part. A little irritating.

Fail

It should have been an easy install. Not sure why, but air gap started leaking air and water after the install. I woke up to a counter full of water. I've given up on refurbishing the RO. Returning the parts and going for a more modular new one.
