Replacement Knob doesn't fit

I purchased a couple of these to replace the range knobs that just broke from regular use after just a year from new purchase at Sears. They don't match the color of the knobs they're intended to replace and don't fit either. They also feel even flimsier than the cheaply made original knobs.

Part number is the same as the knob I need. Does not fit my oven. Looks great and appearance matches but the female slot does not match the oven I own even though both knobs have the same part number. 10/10
