Hard to find heating element found
My oven heating element burned out and I ordered a new one from Sears Parts Direct. They sent the wrong element, but arranged to take it back, then told me the part was no longer made. But with some further checking they did find me a new element, the right one this time , and had it shipped to me immediately. It even arrived several days sooner than estimated, and it was the correct part this time. I consider that real good service from these folks. I will use Sears Parts Direct again in the future on any Kenmore parts that I might need. I recommend trying them first.

Very easy and uick
Turn off power from breaker, unscrew standard not metric bolts, pull out slowly with wires attached, unplug old, plug in new, bolt back in, test, done.

Easy fix for bad baking coil
There are only 4 screws in back and 2 spade clips to remove/reattach and 2 screws in the oven that hold the element in place. About a 10 - 15 minute job.
