Would have been easy to install IF.....

I was pleasantly surprised that the oven door hinges arrived a day earlier than anticipated. However, when I was trying to attach the new parts, I couldn't get the screws to thread into the holes. So, I took the hinges out and realized that the 3 holes on each hinge part had ever been threaded! I tried contacting the service dept on-line but that was a joke. Customer service chat does not give you the option of faulty part questions and there's no one to actually talk to. The "Chat" service did not work AT ALL. Since I had the oven door off and parts scattered all over the kitchen, I ended up going to our local hardware store and bought a hand threading tap and very carefully threaded the holes. After the holes were threaded the assembly of the hinges went perfectly. I am happy with the finished result but disappointed that the parts didn't come to me as they should have. So to clarify - IF the hinges had been threaded like they should have been, they would have been easy to install and it would have taken about 15 minutes once the old parts were removed.

Received a third defective replacement part.

I've been sent a defective replacement part (oven door hinge) three times due to a failed customer service policy. I have explained the problem in detail every time I have talked to the customer service and parts department (about 3.5 hours so far) and each time have had the same part to me. I did get out of one representative that at some point there was a design change for this part but they couldn't tell me what that change was. The last person I talked to took my contact information andsaid he would have a supervisor call me back within the hour. That was two days ago and I've yet to hear from anyone. If anyone at sears cares, please help.
