This ice maker and auger motor assembly (part number EAU60943407) is for refrigerators.

Ice maker and auger motor assembly EAU60943407 contains the complete ice maker and auger motor contained on a mounting bracket.

The ice maker and auger motor assembly mounting bracket has been redesigned. To install the new ice maker and auger motor, also order bracket part number MEG62543401. Remove the old assembly and install bracket MEG62543401 at the top of the door using the original upper screws. Slide the top of the new auger motor assembly into the bracket, then install the lower screws through the auger motor mounting bracket.

Safely store any food that could deteriorate while the power is off and unplug the refrigerator when installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Part not the same as the diagram

This part was close but not the same as the parts diagram. The mounting screws did not have the same configuration as the original part or the diagram. Disappointed that this was not communicated or displayed. The top left area of the original has a recessed area where the mounting screw attaches the piece to the door. This part does not. The other mounting bracket would need to be drilled to make it work.
