The part was properly described.
The replacement cable did not come with any instructions. The owner's manual does not address replacement of the cable However, by reference to instructions for related procedures for adjusting the clutch cable and lubricating the drive shaft (which described how to obtain access to the drive shaft and clutch) I was able to work out how to replace the clutch cable. If the procedure for replacing the clutch cable had been directly addressed I could have replaced it in 30 minutes instead of the 90 minutes that was required.

Replacement parts.
Replacement cable was an exact match compared to Amazon's. Theirs was 2 inches longer than listed and was not a match even tho it was listed as "exact match".

The spring came with the cable
It was obvious that the cable broke, but the new spring that was included was a good idea. It would have been a good idea to inspect the other cables and springs before ordering because I found a broken spring during the cable install.
