solved 3E2 error code on washer WF455ARGSWR/A2

shipping prompt & well packaged. installation simple - phillips #2 screwdriver is all that is needed. under 15min. unplug machine. unscrew old one. pull off electrical connections. screwed in this one. reconnect. done. my 5yr old samsung washer stopped working out of the blue. had 1042 washes completed (data pulled from its service mode feature). error code 3E2. paid a service technician to troubleshoot. the board had to be replaced. noteworthy: tech recommended replacing the hall sensor & the motor. neither needed to be replaced. i bought the hall sensor just in case and also because i wanted the washer up and running quickly - rather than having to make another order. this power control assembly part from sears direct made my washer work again.
