I wasn't planning to replace the oven door I broke trying to clean the glass. Just checking to see how much the new exterior glass panel would cost. Was pleasantly surprised at the encouragement and videos on the site that gave me the confidence to replace the part myself, plus the part discount and helpful "chat" advisors. I did take a couple of hours to put the part on because I also finished the cleaning job, but just replacing the exterior panel would like have taken less than a half hour without the cleaning. The only glitch was the slight manufacturing defect in the first two doors that were sent to me. Sears Part Direct asked no questions and immediately sent out a replacement both times, with very quick delivery. The third part was perfect and I was sent return labels and shipped back the first two parts, picked up at my door, after I finished the job. So, no complaints and I now know to check the very helpful appliance, lawn and garden equipment, and other maintenance and repair videos on the web site so I can do a lot of maintenance and repairs on my own. There are some good videos online showing how to remove old door and install new one. Do not over tighten the door handler the glass will stress crack and shatter.
