Not too difficult to install
Simple and straight forward nut drive and pliers were the tools required. Need a shallow (piepan) to catch residual water in the tub & pump.

Correct hose
It was pretty easy to install but it did pop off the first time again flooding the basement. So second time made sure it was on all the way. Also I wasn't thrilled to pay 8.99 shipping on a 7.49 part. And then wait almost 2 weeks for arrival.

LG washer drain hose
I gave the entire experience 2 stars because I paid for priority shipping which was more than the price of the part. The part was supposed to come in 3 days. It came in 7 business days. So that's not counting the weekend. The part was easy for my husband, who is not a handyman, to install. He had some difficulty removing the original part. Look like it was glued in as well as held by the clamps. After changing out the parts the hose became undone during the test run. He reapplied the pump using the original clamps which he said seemed tighter. I'm enjoying my washer again. Honestly I'm really more bothered about being without my washer, having to go to the laundromat and the part didn't come when it was supposed to.
