Diverter must come pre damaged
New diverter leaked from same rubber part as old on. Tried to tighten clamp but clamp cut into rubber and made leak worse. Super glued hose on old part and reinstalled it. Not currently leaking anymore.

Junk parts on GE dishwasher
The rubber tube split as soon as the hose clamp was tightened. This part is junk and is being sent back. This is exactly what happen to the factory part as well. I am replacing this GE dishwasher. I do not trust this type of connection to not leak again.
