Easy installation
I was a little surprised to see that the damper door and the adapter that it goes into were sold separatly. Once I installed the door into the adapter frame, just two screws were needed to install on the microwave.

The right part, but the outcome was dissapointing
We tried to improve exhaust venting from a Kenmore range hood microwave that was installed by previous home owner, The microwave was installed with internal venting, I wanted to convert it to external venting. Unfortunately, the microwave's internal blower just doesn't generate enough cfm to exhaust the cooktop's fumes .So the time invested in this repair didn't yield the results I had hoped for. Fortunately the parts were very inexpensive
