the replacement part is made out of very cheap plastic...I don't even know if it will work.. the plastic is thinner than the original .. it is an important piece for the ice maker to work.. i am really thinking that this part will be inferior..And the most important part is missing a part... it needs a washer for it to work... the original part has a washer... with out it the water will leak.. and that was the problem. the plastic was cracked and it leaked...difficult to intall because it has to be tight to keep from leaking and don't know if the part will hold up for tightening.. really thin plactic.. almost looks like a toy part...
