Easily replaced old spring retainer, but buy a Washer Inner/Outer Tub Spring Expansion removal Tool to make the job extra easy.

Sometimes you can fix it yourself and sometimes you need a professional. The part did not fix the problem unfortunately.

Parts not required!
That u sell parts that are not required to install a new gasket. U sold me 2 clamp assemblies that were not required and when I received them, one was the wrong part number. When I called about wrong part number being received- this was before I found out they weren't needed- the man I spoke with told me that the part I received, verses the one I ordered, were interchangeable. not true, the part I received clearly stated on the internet that it would not work on my machine. And since they can not be returned, I'm stuck with these parts. am not happy at all for the above reasons.
